Show your Save Saab photos

Time is running short before GM make a decision one way or the other about either selling or closing Saab. This site is intended as a show of support for Saab Automobile and an encouragement to Saab owners everywhere.

What we’d like you to do is upload your own image, something that shows support for Saab Automobile. It should have the “Save Saab” message or something similar included, or just something inspirational about Saab.

Here are our models showing off their signs in Detroit (Jan 5, 2009).

Your image doesn’t have to include a properly made sign (or a bright orange hat, for that matter). It can be something written in the snow, or in magic marker, a T-shirt, anything that conveys a positive Saab message.

And there should be a Saab in there somewhere. Or at least a Saab badge.

HOW TO USE THIS SITE:

1. Take a photo, or a bunch of them.

2. Upload your chosen image to your favourite photo hosting service. We recommend Picasa as it’s pretty easy to use for newbies, but something like Photobucket or another service would work just as well. The geeks amongst you will know exactly what to do.

3. Select and Copy the embed code. Hopefully your photo hosting service has an ‘embed’ option (another reason to use Picasa). It will be listed under the “link to this photo” section in the right sidebar in Picasa (see image).

4. Go to the comments section of this post and scroll down to the end. Paste your embed code into the comments box. You can include a text comment to explain the shot as well, If you like, but it should be brief.

5. Relax, sit back and enjoy your hard work with a warm beverage.
